Class Offerings
In addition to our Gracie Jiu-Jitsu program, we also offer Wing Chun Kung Fu classes.
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu
Effective Brazilian self-defense with Japanese roots
In our fundamentals classes we teach self-defense techniques based on the Grace Combatives program of the Gracie University.
The focus is on defending against untrained, larger and heavier attackers. All principles are designed for anyone to be able to defend themselves without having to be bigger, heavier or stronger than the attacker. Our Jiu-Jitsu is therefore especially suited for women.
The main principle lies in fighting on the ground where we use balance and leverage to compensate for weight and strength differences.
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu for Kids
We teach kids using a specially tailored Gracie Jiu-Jitsu program
Our training promotes self-confidence and, of course, technical skills in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu for children from an early age. In addition, our smallest members get the opporunity to move, play and, when practicing with their peers, to improve their social interaction skills.
Our Jr. Fundamentals program corresponds to the Jr. Combatives of the Gracie University.
Wing Chun Kung Fu
Chinese self-defense system with roots in Shaolin Kung Fu
Wing Chun Kung Fu is a martial art developed by the Chinese nun Ning Mui that allows a person to successfully defend themselves against physically superior opponents. Similarly to Jiu-Jitsu, the opponent's strength is used against him- or herself.
Wing Chun features easy-to-learn techniques and principles that originate in ancient Shaolin Kung Fu.
